Fragments is a series of large-scale, monochrome ink drawings that explore the delicate space between what we choose to reveal, and what we withhold.

Inspired by CMAT’s ‘Take a Sexy Picture of Me’, the work considers the performance of self-image, the tension of being seen on one’s own terms, and the quiet power of absence. Each composition presents isolated parts of the body, limbs, curves, shadows and flesh, suspended in negative space. Together, they create the suggestion of a figure, but never a full one. The viewer must complete the image themselves.

The drawings are not portraits. They are not invitations. They are studies in control, suggestion, and vulnerability, examining how we present ourselves to be looked at, and the fragments we allow others to see.
